Freedom Trail® Official 2017 Hotel Partners

Boston’s official Freedom Trail® hotel partners program is back with 11 hotels and the perfect mix of offerings for families, couples, business travelers, and history buffs. Whether traveling from near or far, visitors are invited to create their own special Freedom Trail getaway, immersing themselves in America’s rich history and enjoying everything in Boston – America’s walking city.

From the many exciting Freedom Trail activities along the iconic 2.5 mile red-lined path to the hotel amenities included in the offerings, visitors will take in tales of Revolutionary heroes, eat at world-class restaurants, and relax in deluxe accommodations.

Freedom Trail hotels invite visitors to enhance their stay with packages, including walking tours with 18th-century costumed guides; entrance to historic Freedom Trail sites; audio guides; and a variety of books, including A Kid’s Guide to the Freedom Trail activity book, a hardcover copy of – An Artist’s View of the Freedom Trail, and the official Freedom Trail Guide. The hotel partners program may also include complimentary breakfast, parking, welcome gifts, or even a unique Freedom Trail suite. Packages are offered at hotels located on or steps from the Freedom Trail with rates from $184, and are available through December 31, 2017.

The 2017 hotel partners are: the new AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge, Battery Wharf Hotel, Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston Marriott Long Wharf, Boston Park Plaza, Boston Omni Parker House Hotel, Fairmont Copley Plaza, The Langham – Boston, Liberty Hotel, Marriott Residence Inn, and Westin Boston Waterfront.

Freedom Trail events bring Boston’s history to life throughout the year. Tours with 18th-century costumed guides, available through the hotel packages or booked independently, include:

Walk Into History® Tours and North End Tours. Enjoy engaging and fun 90-minute walking tours featuring tales of high treason, mob agitations, revolutionary actions, and partisan fights.

Pirates & Patriots® Tours. Explore the dramatic and derring-do stories of the legal and illegal antics of ship owners who plied the waters off Boston Harbor.

Historic Pub Crawls. Visit historic pubs where the Revolution was “fermented” during secret meetings – includes beer and food.

African-American Patriots® Tours. Hear the stories of the black men and women who played an important role in the formation of the nation.

Revolutionary Women Tours. Explore the indomitable women who took part in the American Revolution, and the generations of women that followed.

Historic Holiday Strolls. In November and December, enjoy the festive spirit of Christmas and holiday traditions from old Boston, including a final stop at the Omni Parker House Hotel for tea, hot chocolate and Boston cream pie.
