Thomas White

White was born on March 19, 1739 in Kilkenny, Ireland. In 1771 he came to Philadelphia and became a tailor. After marrying Elizabeth Jones, they moved to Boston where White would eventually join the Sons of Liberty and participate in the Boston Tea Party. White would go on to serve under General George Washington in the American Revolution. He died on September 13, 1820 and is buried at Evans Cemetery in Huntingdon County, PA.
