John Randall was a farmer from Watertown, Massachusetts, at the time of the Boston Tea Party.
There are several accounts of John Randall participating in the “destruction of the tea” at Griffin’s Wharf on December 16, 1773, though most of his personal life remains a mystery.
A John Randall from Watertown answered the Lexington Alarm and marched with a militia of Minutemen from Watertown on April 19, 1775. If true, he would have mustered with other Boston Tea Party participants living in Watertown, such as Phineas Stearns and Joseph Pearse Palmer.
John Randall later served in military campaigns during the Revolutionary War through 1778.
