Thomas Bradlee was a cordwainer who participated in the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773.
Thomas joined his brothers David, Josiah, and Nathaniel, and his brother-in-law John Fulton, at Griffin’s Wharf. They gathered at Nathaniel’s home at Hollis and Tremont Streets in Boston, Massachusetts, along with their sister Sarah Bradlee Fulton and Nathaniel’s wife, Ann, prior to the “destruction of the tea”. Family lore claims that Thomas was a member of St. Andrew’s Lodge of Freemasons, a fraternity known for its revolutionary members, and the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanics Association.
Thomas Bradlee died in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 1, 1805. He is buried in the Central Burying Ground in Boston.
