William Hendly, a mason living in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1773, was mentioned in a list of participants given by Sarah Gammell, the daughter of Boston Tea Party participant John Gammell.
Not much else is known about Hendly, aside from the fact that he was living and working in Boston on Newbury Street in 1796. There were several William Hendlys that applied for Revolutionary War pensions, but it is unclear which are attributed to the William Hendly mentioned as a participant in the Boston Tea Party by Francis S. Drake in his 1884 book Tea Leaves.
Willian Hendly died in Waldoboro, Maine, before February 23, 1830.
