A Three-Hour Tea Party and the Rest is History!
Share Your History with the World

The powerful influence of the 1773 Boston Tea Party continues even today as we prepare to celebrate this signature event in American history with the reopening of the Boston Tea Party Shipssm & Museum.

Be part of this history by sharing yours.

The Boston Tea Party Shipssm & Museum is currently assembling a spectacular collection of Boston Tea Party-related objects and documents. Already part of the collection is the famous Robinson Tea Chest, one of two known surviving chests from the Tea Party with strong provenance, an original copy of the December 1773 issue of the Massachusetts Gazette with published proclamations of the Sons of Liberty, as well as other Revolutionary War period documents & artifacts.

The Boston Tea Party Shipssm & Museum continues to expand its collection through the acquisition and donation of items from people like you around the world. If you have a Boston Tea Party-related object or document that you would like to sell or donate to a museum dedicated entirely to this seminal event in American history, we would love to hear from you.
We are interested in all Boston Tea Party items including period broadsides, pamphlets, flyers, newspapers, advertisements, diaries, family accounts of the Tea Party, letters, ship’s manifests and other documents (from the Beaver, Eleanor, and the Dartmouth), billheads, East India Company documents, tea stamps, tea chests with provenance, tea and other souvenirs taken from the ships, hatchets and other tools used on board, and the personal effects of Tea Party participants and the Sons of Liberty. If acquired, the items will be displayed in perpetuity for more than 300,000 people to see each year. Your important contribution will become an important part of this signature museum.
